Important Note:

Professional Liability Insurance Policies are generally set up on a claims-made basis.  In effect, this means that coverage in only provided for services performed during the policy period and for claims that are filed during the policy period.  It is important to continue your coverage, because cancelling the policy will make it as if you never had coverage for any incidents.  Explore your options before deciding to cancel or non-renew a policy.
